Historical Places

There are many historical artifacts especially from the Roman era in the area.According to ancient records there were approximately 35 castles in the area.Today only couple of these have survived.The most known are the Canca and Kov Castle.

Also there are more than fifthy historical churchs in the area.Unfortunately most of them didn't survived until today.Also there are an ancient city and an aqueduct from the Roman era in the area.

There are also towns, bridges and famous Haldian houses from the Ottoman Empire.

Besides its historical places, Haldia has many natural attractions. Altough it is surrounded by mountains and highlands, Haldia's flora made of verdure and altough it doesn't have a border to the sea, it contains lakes and rivers.
